Do you still have that original blue Tudor Black Bay 58? That thing is amazing. If so, how much do you want for it?!

So happy for you to have that Datejust story. No matter how many watches you hunt down yourself, family heirlooms like that are the ones you simply can’t get unless they’ve been there from the start.

On your other point, I’m not sure if you mostly collect modern watches, but when I was looking for a midsize diver earlier this year, I liked the BB54/58 the most as well. I just couldn’t get past the fake rivets and fauxtina either, and after a long search ended up with a four-digit Rolex instead: https://referencenumber.substack.com/p/searching-for-the-perfect-mid-size
